The NES-101, known as the top loader, is Nintendo's 1993 redesign of the Nintendo Entertainment System. Cartridges drop in from the top, avoiding the connector problems of the original front-loading model. It plays NES cartridges, including Super Mario Bros. 3, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Mega Man 2 and Kirby's Adventure. It is one of the last NES models Nintendo made.
